Teledyne DALSA, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, announced today the launch of a new generation of Linea ™ HS2 8k Back Illumination (BSI) 1 MHz Time Delay Integration (TDI) camera.
For ultra high speed imaging applications under low light conditions, the Linea HS2 8k camera serves as a supplement to the existing 16k model series, providing 5 µ m resolution, industry-leading maximum 1 MHz line frequency, and excellent image quality.
The Linea HS2 series adopts a high-sensitivity multi array charge domain Teledyne DALSA CMOS BSI TDI sensor, providing two resolutions of 8k and 16k, and has optimized quantum efficiency to meet the demanding requirements of current and future machine vision applications. Its multi array TDI sensor architecture can be configured according to specific application requirements, achieving an optimized balance between image quality, line frequency, dynamic range, or full well capacity, thereby bringing excellent signal-to-noise ratio performance and dynamic range to high demand detection tasks.
With this flexibility, Linea HS2 8k is particularly suitable for semiconductor wafers, high-density interconnects (HDI), genome sequencing flow pools, and other high-speed detection applications. The on-chip pixel merging function can further improve production line speed, thereby increasing system throughput. The camera is equipped with a Camera Link HS CX4 connector suitable for active fiber optic cables, which has comprehensive electromagnetic interference (EMI) immunity.
