TE Connectivity Wildcat connectors come in a variety of housing sizes, contact layouts, and coupling options, making them suitable for applications with limited space. The Wildcat series also offers easy to clamp coupling rings and three headed threaded interfaces for quick disassembly and crimping in high-density designs. These connectors are coated with black zinc nickel and have undergone thermal cycling testing. The environmental sealing level during mating is IP67.
The Wildcat connector used for drones can withstand harsh environmental conditions such as vibration and exposure to fuel, oil, and cleaning fluids. The TE Wildcat connector also features interface and wire sealing, forward locking coupling mechanism, and anti skew insertion interface.
