On December 2, 2025, China - STMicroelectronics' L99VR03 300mA Low Dropout Linear Regulator (LDO) provides a stable and efficient power supply with a wide input voltage range and extremely low static current consumption, consuming only 3.5 µ A of current when unloaded. The chip has an enable pin that can turn off the voltage regulator, reduce the static current to 800nA, and integrate a soft start circuit to limit the current during power on and fault recovery.

L99VR03 complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and can supply power to car body control modules, remote information processing controllers, lighting controllers, and automotive microcontroller systems, logic chips, sensors, and other circuits inside the vehicle. Other applications include providing continuous electrical energy for slow boost systems. This device has a wide operating temperature range of -40 ° C to 175 ° C and can be installed in the engine compartment of gasoline vehicles and the power module of electric vehicle drive systems.
STMicroelectronics' L99VR03 LDO regulator provides a fixed output voltage of 3.3V or 5V, with an input voltage of up to 40V. Under all operating conditions, the accuracy of the output voltage is within ± 2%, and the wide input voltage range ensures that the output voltage remains stable in situations such as cold start and load drop. At 1kHz, the switch noise suppression capability is higher than 60dB, and the regulator only requires a 2.2 µ F output capacitor to ensure stable voltage output.
L99VR03 is now in mass production and offers two heat dissipation enhanced packaging options, including a 3mm x 2mm bottom terminated VFDFN8L package with wettable side wings for quality inspection. In addition, there is a 4.9mm x 3.9mm PowerSO12 package with pins that comes with a large built-in heat sink to maximize heat dissipation.
