The Mile High Flood District collaborates with local authorities to manage flood risks through regional watershed planning, warning systems, river restoration, and stormwater control, protecting people, property, and the environment in the Denver metropolitan area of Colorado.
Jon Villines, Innovation Manager of Mile High Flood District, said: "The Mile High Flood District runs complex flood simulations, massive 3D visualizations, and real-time AI workflows, and the number of CUDA cores on NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPUs has almost doubled, resulting in significant performance improvements compared to NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPUs. NVIDIA RTX PRO helps us more easily handle increasingly large geographic information systems as well as hydraulic and hydrological datasets. ”
The Cantabria Geospatial Office is responsible for analyzing and visualizing high-resolution geographic information system data for government and public use.
Gabriel Ortiz Rico, Director of Mapping and Geographic Information Systems Services at Cantabria, said: "We tested the NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell and were impressed by its performance in handling geospatial workloads on Esri ArcGIS Pro. Thanks to the additional Tensor Core and GDDR7 memory of RTX 2000 Blackwell, the fine-tuning speed of AI models is twice as fast as using RTX 2000 Ada. ”
Studio Tim Fu (STF) is a design studio based in London, dedicated to combining human creativity with architecture and design AI.
STF Director Tim Fu said, "The RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell provides support for our UrbanGPT application, enabling real-time text to 3D city design conversion that can be used to generate dynamic city layouts, track key indicators such as project area and floor area, and generate realistic volume distribution in complex urban design scenarios. From zone simulation to large-scale scale research, this technology can accelerate our AI driven design engine, providing the stability and response speed required for urban scale planning. ”
Thornton Tomasetti, located in New York, is a global engineering and design consulting firm that integrates engineering, science, technology, and forensic analysis, dedicated to driving performance, resilience, and innovation in the built environment and other fields.
Rob Otani, Chief Technology Officer of Thornton Tomasetti, said, "At Thornton Tomasetti, we are constantly driving the development of computational engineering. We benchmark the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell on our internal GPU based finite element analysis solver CORE.Matrix, which runs nearly three times faster than the RTX 2000 Ada and 27 times faster than a standard CPU. This enables us to accelerate the structural analysis workflow and achieve more iterative, design integrated engineering. ”
