Dior has launched the AH4930Q 3D linear Hall effect sensor that complies with the AEC-Q100 standard. It is equipped with a 12 bit I2C digital interface and can synchronously capture X/Y/Z three-axis magnetic field changes, providing high-precision non-contact 3D position sensing solutions for automotive electronic systems. Typical applications include press knobs, shift paddles, door handles and locks on infotainment systems, as well as electric seat angle adjusters.
AH4930Q integrates a 12 bit temperature sensor for precise on-chip compensation. The powerful signal path and 12 bit data converter of this sensor provide high resolution as low as 1 Gauss (0.1 mT) per measurement direction through ADC, achieving accurate positioning accuracy. The sensor also uses an I2C interface, which can seamlessly communicate with the host system at speeds up to 1Mbps, read measurement data, and implement runtime programming.
AH4930Q has three operating modes and a power-off mode that consumes only 9nA. Three working modes provide a compromise between power consumption and data acquisition, including an ultra-low power mode that consumes only 13 µ A (10Hz), and a 3.8mA (3.3kHz) fast sampling mode for continuous measurement functionality. With a wake-up time of 10 µ s, a response time of 4 µ s, and a wide bandwidth, AH4930Q can achieve ultra fast data acquisition even in the most demanding product applications.
AH4930Q uses a power supply voltage of 2.8V to 5.5V and can operate within a temperature range of -40 ° C to+125 ° C. This 3D linear Hall effect sensor adopts the industry standard 6-pin SOT26 (A1 type) package, and the supply quantity is in units of 1000. Currently, a standard specification version of AH4930 is also available, suitable for industrial and commercial product applications.
