In August 2017, the Huahong Wuxi Phase I project settled in Wuxi High tech Zone, and it only took 17 months from construction to production. At present, after two rounds of expansion, the project is about to achieve a total monthly production target of 94500 pieces within the year.
On June 8, 2023, Huahong Group decided to launch the second phase project of Huahong Wuxi Integrated Circuit Research and Manufacturing Base in Wuxi High tech Zone, with an investment of 6.7 billion US dollars, to build a new 12 inch characteristic process integrated circuit chip production line with a production capacity of 83000 pieces. On June 30th, the Huahong Wuxi Phase II project officially started construction, and within less than half a year, 70% of the main construction of the factory building has been completed.
According to online news from Wuxi High tech Zone, it is expected that the monthly production capacity of all Phase I and Phase II projects will reach 180000 pieces after reaching production. The Huahong Wuxi project will become the most advanced and largest 12 inch characteristic process research and manufacturing base in China.
