Coherent High Intent CW laser adopts a proprietary low series resistance design, with energy efficiency about 15% higher than current industry standards. A new standard for laser technology
The first product of this revolutionary laser family is a 70 mW 1310 nm laser, designed to operate in an uncooled, non airtight environment at junction temperatures up to 85 ° C. The commercial delivery of this laser will begin in September 2024. Coherent High Energy also plans to launch higher power lasers operating in cooled environments and lasers customized for CWDM wavelengths by 2025.
These lasers are not only efficient, but also robust. Due to the removal of aluminum from the active quantum well region, they provide excellent reliability.
