Nord launches book sized all-in-one product - NORDAC PRO SK 500P inverter
Nord's newly launched NORDAC PRO SK 500P control cabinet frequency converter is suitable for a wide range of drive applications. Its power range is 0.25 to 22 kilowatts, which can meet the different needs of different industries. At present, the system supplier is expanding the product power range.

Integrated multifunctionality
Like all NORDAC PRO frequency converters, integrating a multi protocol Ethernet interface is one of its key features. It can integrate control components into different networks without modification, including Profinet, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and POWERLINK protocols. According to different models, it can also cover more protocols. The USB interface can also set voltage free parameters for the frequency converter.
Integrated PLC can independently respond to process changes in the system. Therefore, it can reduce the load of the upper level control. The POSICON positioning function can perform various positioning tasks. It can also use incremental or absolute encoders to control relative or absolute positioning, enabling parameter setting switching and even sequential positioning of four axes.
Equipment control from lifting equipment to pumps
Through NORDAC PRO SK 500P, users can meet the driving applications of specific industries. The control cabinet frequency converter has vector adjustment function and overload reserve of up to 200%. Therefore, it is suitable for controlling deceleration motors in heavy-duty applications or lifting systems. Its PI controller and integrated compensator control make it an ideal frequency converter for pump and winding systems. Meanwhile, the book sized frequency converter occupies very little space in the control cabinet and can be installed side by side without leaving any gaps.
More sizes are about to be released
NORDAC PRO SK 500P can control all types of motors with or without encoder feedback. In order to leverage its advantages over a larger power range, Nord is currently developing new inverter sizes.
