New Micro Power Switch Helps Extend the Running Time of IoT Batteries
Melexis, a global microelectronics engineering company, announced today that it has launched ultra-low power Hall switches MLX92216 and MLX92217, which have advantages such as a power consumption of only 1 microwatt and smaller errors, helping to accurately predict power costs and extend battery operation time. These two magnetic devices can be used to detect the on/off position, replacing traditional reed switches and becoming the preferred choice for Internet of Things (IoT), industrial, and white goods applications.

The micro watt level switches MLX92216 and MLX92217 released by Melexis directly meet this requirement.
